Cheesy Texas Toast

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried parsley until well combined.
Spread Butter Mixture: Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, making sure to coat the edges as well.
Add Cheese: Place the buttered slices of bread on the prepared baking sheet, buttered side up. Sprinkle an even layer of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese over each slice.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Cook Notes & Tips
Broil for Extra Crispiness: For extra crispy and golden cheese, switch to the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
Softened Butter: Make sure your butter is softened to room temperature so it spreads easily on the bread.
Cheese Blend: Feel free to use your favorite cheese blend. Monterey Jack, Asiago, or Colby work well in addition to or instead of the suggested cheeses.

Variations
Spicy Cheesy Texas Toast: Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture for a spicy kick.
Bacon Cheesy Toast: Sprinkle cooked, crumbled bacon over the cheese before baking for a smoky, savory addition.
Herb and Garlic Toast: Add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme to the butter mixture for an herby flavor boost.
