30 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
50 g cornstarch
For the Cheese Sauce:
20 g butter
1/2 tbsp wheat flour
150 ml milk
70 g cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 tbsp spicy sauce (or adjust to taste) Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl. Add salt, garlic powder, pepper, chopped carrots, chopped celery, mozzarella, and cornstarch. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
Shape the Sticks:
Roll out the dough flat and cut into uniform strips. Gently roll each strip into a stick shape.
Fry:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the sticks in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Make the Cheese Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and stir until smooth. Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly. Add cheddar cheese and spicy sauce. Cook until creamy.
Serve:
Enjoy hot potato sticks with warm cheese sauce for dipping.
