On the unbuttered side of two bread slices:

Place cheese slices β€” mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend works great.

Add optional layers like tomato, avocado, or spinach for extra nutrition.
Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side out.

Step 4: Grill Until Golden & Melty
In a skillet over medium heat (or using a panini press):

Place the sandwiches in the hot pan.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side , until golden brown and crisp.
Press gently with a spatula to help the cheese melt faster.
