Ingredients
For cleaning & boiling

1 kg chicken feet

Water
-
1 tbsp salt
-
1 tbsp vinegar or lemon
-
2 garlic cloves
-
1 bay leaf (optional)
For marinade
-
1 tsp salt
-
1 tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp paprika
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp ginger powder
-
½ tsp chili powder (optional)

1 egg
-
2 tbsp milk or water
For coating
-
1 cup flour
-
½ cup cornstarch
-
1 tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
For frying
-
Vegetable oil (deep frying)
Step 1: Clean the chicken feet (important)

Cut off the nails.
-
Wash with water + salt + vinegar.

Rinse very well.
Step 2: Boil
-
Put chicken feet in a pot.
-
Add water, garlic, bay leaf, salt.
-
Boil 15–20 minutes (until soft but not falling apart).

Drain and let cool completely.
Step 3: Marinate
-
In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients.

Add chicken feet and mix well.
-
Rest 30 minutes (or 1 hour for better taste).
Step 4: Coat

Mix flour + cornstarch + spices.
-
Coat each chicken foot well.
-
For extra crisp: dip again in marinade → flour again.
Step 5: Fry

Heat oil (medium-high).
-
Fry until golden and very crispy (5–7 minutes).

Remove and drain on paper towel.
