Diseases and pests
While not particularly susceptible to diseases and pests , Crassulla ovata requires careful attention to watering and sunlight. Too much water can rot the stem, while too little can cause the leaves to lose color. Conversely, drafts or low temperatures can cause the leaves to drop and the plant to wilt. Finally, beware of mealybugs , which should be removed with a cotton ball soaked in a solution of alcohol and water.
