Low-Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

 

1 cup heavy whipping cream

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (12 oz) package shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Instructions
1. Preheat Oven & Brown Beef

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef with garlic and onion powder until browned and crumbly, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease.

2. Assemble the Base

Spread the cooked beef evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole pan. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.

3. Make the Egg Mixture
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Stir in 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.

4. Bake

Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon in the pan. Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.

5. Serve

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
