For the Mozzarella & Breading:
Fresh mozzarella, cut into 3x½x2 inch sticks
1 lb (use block, not pre-sliced)
All-purpose flour
½ cup (for dredging)
Eggs
2 large
Water
1 tbsp (to thin egg wash)
Breadcrumbs (Italian-seasoned or panko)
2 cups
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Onion powder
1 tsp
Paprika
½ tsp
Salt
½ tsp
Pro Tip: Freeze the mozzarella sticks for 30 minutes before breading — prevents melting during frying.
For the Nashville Hot Glaze:
Melted butter
¼ cup
Cayenne pepper
2–3 tbsp (adjust for heat)
Brown sugar
1 tsp
Garlic powder
½ tsp
Paprika
½ tsp
Honey or maple syrup (optional)
