Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) . Use a large cast iron skillet or oven-safe frying pan.
Step 2: Make the Peach Butter Sauce
In the skillet:
Melt ½ cup butter over medium heat until bubbly.
Stir in peach juice or syrup , diced peaches , brown sugar (if using) , cinnamon , and nutmeg .
Let simmer gently for 3–4 minutes , then remove from heat.
Add vanilla extract and stir well.
This creates a warm, gooey base for the biscuits to “swim” in.
Step 3: Mix the Biscuit Dough
In a mixing bowl:
